About Diversity Ball & Fundraising Gala

The Diversity Ball & Fundraising Gala will feature a wide array of local and international music, cultural performances, delicious multiethnic foods, showcase of multiethnic costumes (fashion show), and imaginative crafts. Students, faculty and staff from all schools and universities, members of the local communities, the entire state and the DMV area are all invited to join us in this celebration of cultures through art and entertainment.

What you
will learn

The D & I ball provides an opportunity to promote culture and highlight the significance of diversity as an agent of inclusion and positive change. It also provides an opportunity to celebrate the many variations of

cultures, from the tangible and intangible, to creative industries, to the diversity of cultural expressions. Participants will also learn the history and way of life of other people in their communities.

Why
Diversity Ball & Fundraising Gala

The Diversity and Identity Ball (DIB) is designed to engage, empower, embrace and celebrate cultural differences in order to foster respect and open mindedness for other cultures. This celebration supports and enhances our mission of “ providing a fresh perspective on cultural awareness that gives the citizens of the state, nation and the world  the tools they need to expand their capacity to achieve success together.” by providing a platform where diverse perspectives, cultures and values are accepted, appreciated and celebrated. Recognizing that we are human is the first step in the celebration of our differences- differences that inform our cultures, our values, our minds and all our ways of being in the world.

At Eunity Solutions, we believe that our “cultural identity is a hidden treasure.” Embracing each other’s values and beliefs brings unity, provide strength and creative solutions to life’s challenges. The theme for the Inaugural Diversity and Identity ball (CIB) is ‘Who am I? My Culture, My Identity. The goal for this ball is to celebrate our differences, as well as our common interests, to help unite and educate us. We are delighted to host the Diversity Ball & Fundraising Gala at 24 Blevins Dr. New Castle DE. 19720

You Are A Hero Award!

Living life on purpose is what they say will lead you to achieve success. However, when faced with challenges some will give up on what they love doing. Others persevere and turn their pain into a positive outlook. And, use their experiences to inspire others and transform lives.

The Aloysius & Keith ‘You Are A Hero’ award is designed to recognize individuals who have demonstrated excellence and determination despite challenges.

This award is named after our dad and mentor Shey Aloysius WanManjo and our son Keith Ndango Nyuykighan Gwanmesia.

Shey WanManjo is a retired and dedicated educator (50 years), mentor, leader, father, grandfather, husband, uncle and son who has touched and changed many lives. He is also a traditional title holder in the Nso Fondom in Cameroon, West Africa. 24 years ago, Shey was involved in a ghastly accident that forever changed his life. He continues to share his love and passion for education, mentor-ship and culture.

Keith is a young man with a heart of gold who despite medical challenges does not give up. He reminds us all that having a disability is not a reason to limit your goals. His love for friends and family is infectious and makes us understand that love and family is a priority. Keith is frequently heard singing his favorite song from the Lion King Cartoon series by Pumba and Timon “Stand by Me.”

The award recipients are carefully selected for their commitment and dedication to serving mankind
